Historical societies, organizations, local historians, and historical craft demonstrators are welcome to set up a display or demonstration.

The sign-up form will be available in early January 2027.

We thank everyone who exhibited and attended our inaugural Carbon County History Fair on March 14, 2026. It was a great success and we look forward to an even bigger and better fair next year!

In celebration of America250, the Lehighton Area Heritage Alliance (LAHA) is hosted a county-wide history fair featuring displays by 24 Carbon County historical societies, organizations, local historians, and historical craft demonstrators.

The inaugural Carbon County History Fair was be held at the Carbon Plaza Mall on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. There is was no cost to the public to attend the event.

A variety of photos, postcards, maps, artifacts, and local memorabilia highlighting Carbon County’s rich history were on display by the following nonprofit historical organizations:
